First of all, never compare yourself to the next person. Your only competition should be the person staring back at you in the mirror. I think where so many fail, is when they start comparing themselves to fitness models. Stop doing that!!! By comparing yourself like that, you will think that you’re not making progress. But in all actuality you are.
Use the start slow go slow approach and stick with it until your body adapts. Then start making progressions, don’t progress too fast. Think of it like this “you didn’t like this overnight, so don’t think you’re going to fix everything overnight”. It’s going to take time, but it will be well worth the time.
